Le PDG de LVMH a par ailleurs évoqué – sans toutefois donner plus de précision – un projet d’implantation « en Caroline ou au Texas ». « Nous n’avons pas encore décidé, mais ce sera fait rapidement « , a ajouté Bernard Arnault.
Alors qu’on lui demandait, de quoi les deux hommes avaient discuté, Donald Trump a déclaré : « De grandes choses, des choses merveilleuses. » Avant d’ajouter : « C’est-à-dire des emplois, beaucoup d’emplois. »
