Le titre de Groupon – leader américain des coupons de réduction en ligne – a littéralement explosé vendredi à Wall Street, les investisseurs réagissant plus que favorablement à son introduction en Bourse.
Il est vrai que le titre fait son entrée sur le Nasdaq à un prix plus attractif que prévu.
L’action – enregistrée sous le code « GRPN » – .s’est ainsi envolée de 50% à New-York, alors que Groupon a au final « pricé » son introduction en bourse à Wall Street au-delà des attentes, à 20$ par titre, contre 16-18$ précédemment avancé.
En se basant sur ces éléments, le groupe capitaliserait de l’ordre de 13 Mds$, ce qui représenterait la plus grosse introduction dans l’Internet depuis Google en 2004, date à laquelle le géant des moteurs de recherche avait été cédé pour 1,7 Md$ d’actions.
Rappelons par ailleurs que Groupon souhaite lever 700 M$ en offrant environ 5% de son capital au public. 35 millions de titres devraient être vendus.
