Selon un classement publié par le magazine économique « Bilanz » et la société Interbrand, la marque de café instantané Nescafé commercialisé par le fabricant Nestlé demeure en effet numéro 1.
Avec une valeur de 10,66 milliards de francs suisses, le géant du café soluble devance les géants pharmaceutiques que sont Roche et Novartis.
Reste tout de même que 439 millions de moins ont été enregistrés par rapport à l’année passée.
La deuxième place revient à Roche, avec 7,67 milliards de francs. Novartis affiche la troisième place avec une valeur de 6,97 milliards.
Bonne nouvelle en ce qui concerne la marque Nestlé elle-même : le groupe gagne une place devant l’horloger Rolex (6,64 milliards), pour finir en 4ème position. Si le géant de l’agro-alimentaire a certes publié des résultats inférieurs aux attentes au premier trimestre 2013, il a toutefois confirmé ses objectifs sur l’ensemble de l’année. Sur les trois premiers mois de l’année, le chiffre d’affaires a augmenté de 5,4 % à, 21,9 milliards de francs suisses(soit 18 milliards d’euros), alors que les analystes financiers tablaient sur des ventes de l’ordre de 22,5 milliards de francs suisses.

Residant au Cameroun, je trouve que la politique commerciale de Nescafe n’est pas étrangère au succès qu’elle rencontre. Elle est intense et résolument proche du consommateur lambda. De plus, le rajeunissement de l’image rend ce produit plus attractif pour les jeunes. Beaucoup gagneraient à s’en inspirer.
