   Après la série de contrôles de l’entretien de certains avions effectuée fin mars par la FAA (Agence fédérale de l’aviation civile américaine), une nouvelle affaire en matière de sécurité aérienne, sans lien avec la précédente, jette un nouveau trouble sur les compagnies aériennes américaines.
   Selon le Figaro de mardi 22 avril, Continental Airlines aurait atterri à 96 reprises en 2007 à New York avec la jauge de carburant dans le rouge.
   Alors que le tourisme vers les Etats-Unis décollent,  »boosté » par un euro fort, les compagnies aériennes américaines font depuis la fin mars, les gros titres de la presse.
