Le pacte de coopération entre PSA et MITSUBISHI vient d’être signé par Takashi Nishioka et Jean-Martin Folz, lors du voyage de ce dernier au Japon cette semaine. L’accord stipule le lancement de deux véhicules 4×4 badgés PEUGEOT et CITROEN sur base de plateforme MITSUBISHI et équipés des derniers moteurs HDi de PSA. Aujourd’hui PSA produit en licence le P4, une version militaire du classe G Mercedes. Jusque là, c’est ce que vous pourrez lire demain ou lundi dans vos journaux, mais Gianni en sait plus et va vous le dire ! J’ai appris que ces 4×4 ne seront pas des modèles SUV de luxe comme la paire Cayenne/Touareg, mais ils seront situés dans le milieu de gamme à l’identique des modèles MITSUBISHI d’aujourd’hui. Il n’est pas à exclure, m’informe la même source, que PSA prendra une participation dans MITSUBISHI, soit reprenne carément la branche 4×4 du constructeur japonais. Ce scénario est d’autant plus probable que DaimlerChrysler cherche à se désengager de son partenaire nippon. Suivez mon regard….Gianni vous dit : achetez DaimlerChrysler et passez PSA en hold !
