Grèce : Ikea décide d’une réduction des salaires de l’ordre de 10 %

Pauvres  salariés  grecs ! Ils pâtissent à la fois des conditions  sociales  qui prévalent chez leur employeur Ikea, qui sont loin de devoir être montrées en exemple, de l’impact de la crise qui frappe la Grèce  et  des mesures imposées par l’Union européenne à Athènes. Jugez plutôt : la  direction d’Ikea a   annoncé    à ses  salariés  qu’à partir de  décembre, qu’une    diminution comprise  entre 9  et 11 % affecterait  leurs  rémunérations.

Une annonce   suivie dès  mardi par des grèves reconductibles, alors  qu’environ 1400 employés travaillant dans les cinq magasins de la franchise à travers le pays seraient  concernés.

Une  des raisons  de cette décision : la franchise grecque Ikea a enregistré une baisse de son chiffre d’affaires de 9,6% au premier semestre 2012.   Mais l’entreprise  affirme  toutefois avoir gagné « une importante part de marché d’équipement de la maison malgré les conditions défavorables ».

Les syndicats  notent pour leur  part que  ces mesures très peu réjouissantes  interviennent   dix jours après l’adoption par le pays d’un nouveau train de rigueur.  Ce dernier, voté par le Parlement grec sous la pression des créanciers UE et FMI, prévoit des mesures accrues de flexibilité du marché du travail, tout en facilitant licenciements et contrats individuels.
